The Love Island Couples Still Together Prove Reality TV Can Work as Cupid

Love Island is back! The 2024 series is returning, after the success of the first ever All Stars spin, which saw Molly Smith and Tom Clare take home the £50,000 cash prize. This time around, the show will return to its original format, as ordinary singletons make their way into the villa to endure awkward recouplings, firepit drama, and cringe-worthy games. And, of course, we'll be seeing more of Maya Jama's stunning outfits.

The most recent winners, Molly and Tom and Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan are proving that love really can be found in the villa as both couples have gone from strength to strength. After winning back in January 2024, Molly and Tom and living together, while Sanam and Kai, who won the show in 2023, have just announced their engagement.

However, multiple loved-up pairings have split when life returns to normal as they leave that famous heart-shaped exit behind. Although there have been a number of success stories since the reality show returned in 2015. Of course, there's couples like Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury who got engaged just six months after welcoming their baby daughter, Bambi. And then there's Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack who are still going strong after appearing in the 2022 show.

Perhaps this latest series means there could be more Love Island offspring in the future as they follow in the loved-up footsteps of Molly-Mae and Tommy? Or will we see relationships blossom only to fall apart when they leave the villa like Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran? Only time will tell. While we've seen bromances, brides, and babies, read on to see who really did find their type on paper.

Love Island All Stars 2024 — Molly Smith and Tom Clare

Molly Smith and Tom Clare had an awkward start to their journey, as the couple were forced to focus on their blossoming romance under the watchful eye of Smith's ex Callum Jones.

However, they pushed through and were later crowned the winners of the All Stars spin-off. Despite fans thinking they wouldn't last, Smith and Clare have defied the odds and have reportedly started the process of moving in with each other.

Love Island All Stars 2024 — Sophie Piper and Joshua Ritchie

Sophie Piper and Josh Ritchie were two sweethearts in the Love Island All Stars villa. After Piper arrived as a bombshell, she quickly turned Ritchie's head and the rest is history.

You can find the pair making hilarious TikToks together and while they missed out on being crowned winners, these two have no doubt taken the top spot for the hottest Love Island couple.

Love Island 2023 — Whitney Brown and Lochan Nowacki

The pair met during the Casa Amor segment and were loved-up ever since. They became "exclusive" on their final date and, we have to admit, the future is looking bright for these two. They regularly appear on each other's TikTok channels, and appear to be going from strength to strength.

Love Island 2023 – Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble

Another Love Island couple who had a rocky time but found their way back to each other. They went "exclusive" near the end of the 2023 series, but were voted as being least compatible due to their differing lifestyles.

Outside of the villa, Molly and Zach dated, but didn't last long before annoucning their split and Molly appeared as a bombshell in the All Stars season earlier this year. However, after failing to find love, Molly found her way back to Zach and the pair seem to be giving things another go, confirming they'd be travelling to Australia for two months following their reunion.

Winter Love Island 2023 — Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan

They were crowned the Love Island 2023 winners of the winter series, and have since made their romance official. Fagan and Harrinanan have been going strong since he got down on one knee during a beautifully romantic date, becoming one of the few Love Island couples to get engaged. As the first couple of colour to win the reality show, here's hoping they reach more special milestones together.

Winter Love Island 2023 — Tanya Manhengan and Shaq Muhammad

They had a rocky ride in the Love Island villa, but Tanya and Shaq are stronger than ever after coming fourth on the reality TV series. Tanya captioned a previous Instagram post, writing: "Life together starts now! I have a best friend in my boyfriend I can't wait to fall deeper in love with you! If that's even possible". From matching Christmas pyjamas to multiple loved-up snaps, they appear to be the perfect match.

Winter Love Island 2023 — Will Young and Jessie Wynter

They were the cute couple who just missed out on a place in the final, but Will and Jessie's love is blossoming on the outside. Despite living in Australia, Jessie has travelled back to the UK and even visited the farmer's home to feed his sheep and pigs. Will later surprised Jessie with a plane ticket to go with her back to Sydney.

As of March 2024, Jessie revealed that she now has a three-year visa and that the pair are currently house-hunting. She told the MailOnline that the couple were "just going to kind of see where the road takes us."

Love Island 2022 — Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope

Polack and Hope came third in the 2022 series of the show, and they've just celebrated their one year anniversary together. The happy couple have been spotted having romantic lunch dates in London, and meeting each other's extended family. They attended the "Barbie" premiere together and have even moved in together in London.

With cute pics together, and Polack taking on the role of Love Island podcast host alongside MIC's Sam Thompson, the couple's career and love life looks pretty sweet. It seems that all roads still "lead to Indiyah", eh Dami?

Love Island 2022 — Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page

Ghouri and Le Page came fourth on Love Island earlier this summer, and despite some bumps on the road during the show, they're happier than ever. In fact, Le Page - who lived in Dubai before filming - has moved back to the UK to live with his girlfriend. The couple got matching tattoos just a few weeks after leaving the villa and Le Page even went on to get another tattoo: an illustration of "I love you" in British Sign Language, a heartfelt nod to the eBay pre-loved ambassador's deafness.

The couple have since bought their first home together, for which they've already started renovations for. Good luck on this mega project!

Love Island 2021 – Millie Court and Liam Reardon

They won Love Island 2021 and were fan favourites to go the distance. But after moving in together, Millie and Liam announced their split a year later in July 2022. While everyone assumed they'd gone their separate ways, rumours began circulating in summer 2023 that the pair were back in contact and hanging out. Then, in August they soft-launched their relationship by posting photos together at Victorious festival and are happier than ever.

Love Island 2019 & Winter Love Island 2020 — Lucie Donlan and Luke Mabbott

OK, so we know these two weren't technically in the same series, but we can't help but get excited when ex-"Love Island" stars get together. Donlan was paired up with Joe Garratt in 2019, but this didn't work out. Mabbott appeared on the first ever winter Love Island in 2020 and coupled up with Demi Jones. While their TV relationships didn't last, these two got together in 2020, moved in with each other after six months, and are now engaged.

Love Island 2019 — Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury

Tipped to win the series, Hague and Fury finished in second place in the 2019 season of "Love Island". To say these two are loved up would be an understatement. The power couple got engaged in 2023 after welcoming their first baby together, a baby girl named Bambi.

The couple stick together through thick and thin, most notably supporting each other during Fury's boxing match against Jake Paul just weeks after he became a dad.

Love Island 2017 — Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt

After getting together right near the finish line of the 2017 series, Thurlow and Jewitt have gone from strength to strength. Their daughter, Nell, was born in October 2020, and the couple got married in September 2021. Soon after came the arrival of their second baby, Nora Belle, in May 2022. Later in April 2023, Camilla, Jamie, Nell and Nora Belle became a family of five, when baby Brodie was born. What a love story!

Love Island 2017 — Jess Shears and Dom Lever

Lever and Shears got engaged in September 2017, had a fake wedding on Good Morning Britain and secretly got married for real in October 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, a year later. Then in June 2022, they became a family of four with the birth of their second baby boy. We love hearing about mini Love Islanders.

Love Island 2016 — Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen

These beauties got married in September 2018, and we've loved seeing them grow their lives together. From incredible homes to their cute dogs, the pair have been unstoppable. The couple have a son, Abel, who arrived in January 2023. A true Love Island baby!

Love Island 2016 — Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey

Nathan and Cara won the 2016 series of Love Island and are one of the biggest success stories to come out of the show. Despite a brief split when Cara was first pregnant, the pair rekindled just before their son, Freddie-George, was born. They got married in June 2019 and added little Delilah to their brood in August 2020. The family regularly post videos of their epic Disney World trips.
