Candles are my ultimate guilty pleasure. So much so, in fact, that I have a full cupboard dedicated to them. (Please, don't judge me.) Over the years, I've tried both pricey and affordable candles, fallen in and out of love with many smells, and gone through more matches than I'd care to admit. However, I'd never found a candle I loved so much, I immediately bought backups at the fear that it might get discontinued — well, until now, that is. After having heard of Aldi's designer-inspired candles, I decided to give them a go. After all, at only £4 a pop, I wasn't taking a big risk. My pick? The classic Blackberry & Bay scent.

At first smell, I was immediately taken by its sweet and powerful fragrance — and a few weeks later, I'm still not over it. While I did think that a £4 candle wouldn't have the same effect as a more expensive option, I was quickly proven wrong. On top of looking incredibly luxurious thanks to its glass container and smart silver lid, this candle doesn't actually have to be lit to quickly fill the room with its delicious aroma. With two wicks, it burns very evenly (an important criteria for any candle-lover!), and the only criticism I have is that it (sadly) doesn't exist in a bigger size.
