Touted as nature's candy, fruit is something we grew up knowing was good for us. While it's loaded with vitamins, minerals, and fibre, it does contain sugar, making it a food some believe should be avoided when on diets like keto, on which you're also supposed to limit your carbs to 20 to 50 grams.

The good news is that you don't have to take fruit completely out of rotation when you're trying keto because there are some types that are low in carbs and high in fibre that fit the diet's restrictions.
